A business meeting of the Center Township Board of Supervisors was held on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. at the Township Office in Rogersville. Present were Daniel R. Stoneking, Chairman, Paul Cook, Vice Chairman, Harry D. Gillispie, Supervisor and N. Dawn Horr, Secretary. No visitors were present.
Harry made a motion to approve the minutes of the February business meeting as read. Paul seconded and the motion was carried unanimously.
Paul made a motion to approve the bills as presented. Harry seconded and the motion was carried unanimously.
The code enforcement report was reviewed with a listing of the overweight vehicle violations pending and one paid by Coastal Well Service.
Harry made a motion to advertise for the adoption of a solar ordinance at the April meeting. Paul seconded and the motion was carried unanimously.
The annual liquid fuels allocation in the amount of $270,524.74 was received on March 3rd.
Harry mentioned that the township earned over $245,000 in interest earnings last year thanks to wise investing by the board with the help of Shawna at First National Bank.
Harry made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Seconded by Paul and the meeting was adjourned at 5:12 p.m.
