A business meeting of the Center Township Board of Supervisors was held on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. at the Township Office in Rogersville. Present were Paul Cook, Chairman, Daniel R. Stoneking, Vice Chairman, Harry D. Gillispie, Supervisor and N. Dawn Horr, Secretary. No visitors were present.
Harry made a motion to approve the minutes of the January organizational and business meetings. Dan seconded and the motion was carried unanimously.
Dan made a motion to approve the bills as presented. Harry seconded and the motion was carried unanimously.
Under old business, Paul made a motion to postpone advertising for bids for stone and road materials/road projects until the March meeting. Harry seconded and the motion was carried unanimously.
Also under old business, Harry made a motion to increase the hourly wages of the employees, John Iams, Jordan Cooke and Dawn Horr by $1.00 per hour retroactive to January 1, 2026. Dan seconded and the motion was carried unanimously.
The code enforcement report was reviewed. There are several over weight violations pending and citations have been filed. Two letters have been sent to residents regarding trash. Dan verified that trash at one of the properties had been cleaned up.
Dan made a motion to approve the James Butler lot split. Harry seconded and the motion was carried unanimously.
The annual Chapter 94 report for the sewer plant has been completed and is ready for submittal.
A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Harry. Dan seconded and the meeting was adjourned at 5:07 p.m.
