A business meeting of the Center Township Board of Supervisors was held on Monday, January 6, 2025 at 5:20 p.m. at the Township Office in Rogersville. Present were Daniel R. Stoneking, Chairman, Paul Cook, Vice Chairman, Harry D. Gillispie, Supervisor and N. Dawn Horr, Secretary. No visitors were present.
Harry made amotion to approve the minutes of the December business and budget adoption meetings. Paul seconded and the motion was carried unanimously.
Paul made a motion to approve the bills as presented. Harry seconded and the motion was carried unanimously.
A motion was made by Harry to advertise for bids for stone, oil (road materials) and equipment rental needed for road maintenance and diesel fuel (if needed. The bids for the oil and equipment rental will not be split. The bids will be opened and read on February 1th at noon prior to the business meeting. Paul seconded and the motion was carried unanimously.
A motion was made by Harry ot appoint Cypher and Cypher to complete the 2024 annual audit. Paul seconded and the motion was carried unanimously.
A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Harry. Paul seconded and the meeting was adjourned at 5:25 p.m.
